-  new advertising of the Gucci glasses campaigns  -
kai and NI NI

Kai, a member of the K-Pop EXO band, Chinese actress Ni Ni, Alessandro Michele and Harmony Korine team up in the new Gucci glasses campaign.

For the new advertising campaign of the Gucci autumn-winter glasses collection, the creative director of the House, Alessandro Michele, expresses his belief in the power of the individual. The drama of the human face has the hypnotic ability to evoke all kinds of imaginative responses. Here, simple portraits pose multiple narratives, although one of them undoubtedly tries to encourage the viewer to express themselves and to express their beliefs, values and individuality without complexes.

Chinese actress Ni Ni, ambassador of the firm, who participates in the Gucci glasses campaign for the sixth consecutive season, is joined for the first time by South Korean singer, actor and dancer Kai, a member of the EXO boy-band, as International male ambassador for House glasses.

Ni Ni sports two round designs. Their sunglasses have an oversized metal frame with the classic Gucci fork-shaped rods, for a true seventies look. This model is adorned with an enamelled motif of colored stripes inspired by the designs of the House glasses archive. Its metallic optical glasses have a smooth enameled strip on the oversize front and the fork-shaped rods, which also stand out for the detail of G interlaced in the hinges and practical acetate terminals..

Kai carries two clubmaster designs for men. The first is a model of sunglasses that reinterprets the Gucci band through an original combination of colors and materials: tortoiseshell and mother of pearl interspersed with golden metal sections. This contemporary design also stands out for the Gucci typographic logo and vintage-inspired metal finishes. Kai also sports an optical clubmaster model adorned with a similar band (again, composed of hawksbill, mother of pearl and gold metal). On this occasion, the rods are enhanced with the Gucci signature and vintage-inspired finishes in gold metal.
